You need to provide your own Make Up Artist. In most regions that I shoot, I usually know of several MUA’s in the area that I can refer you to if you wish. Their rates are market value and they do great work. If you provide your own MUA, then I would like to talk to the MUA so we can plan the details of the shoot and discuss the artistic goals of the shoot. I will need you to give me the contact information for your MUA. We will be acting as a team on the day of the shoot. If you are traveling from out of town, I will help arrange for a MUA for the shoot. If you want me to travel to shoot on a remote location, then I will need to be compensated for those costs including, gasoline, meals, and lodging. We would work arrangements out ahead of time so there are no surprises financially. If we are to shoot together, professional communication is a must. We will need to discuss the shoot several times before the shoot so that when it comes time to do the shoot, we’re in agreement on locations, wardrobe, posing expectations, MUA, themes, etc. Other than that, be prepared for lots of fun creating amazing images!
